Little Ty and Macey are just the cutest! We went up to their grandparents cabin (my dream home one day) to help set the tone for the session. This cabin is amazing….everything is designed to replicate an 1800’s cabin! Oh, and the children just love this place! From the old dolls and hats, to the old school books and axes…this place is a dream come true for any child (and adult) to visit. We all played in the house, outside in the woods, walked the long gravel drive, and ended up in the creek at the end!
Here are a few from the session…more to come!
And the necklace…she thought she could slip them over her head, but mom had to help out!
The Ty man reading a book in the bedroom….
Just being a boy….but of course, sister had to hang out too…:)
Photographing this family in Lake Lure was so much fun!! Enjoy some more of the photos!

Look at the little guy on the left!!
Just being a kid….I love it!!

Family photography…what a grand idea! The couple on the very left were celebrating their 50th anniversary! Their 2 daughters, and their families, all met in Lake Lure, NC for a weekend with the family! What a great anniversary gift! Here are a couple from the session!

I had the pleasure of photographing little Kail while I was in Illinois this past weekend. He is so adorable and was wide awake for the whole session!
I tried some new post-processing on this session and I absolutely LOVE it! More to come…happy Tuesday!

**If you only knew what we had to go through to get this image! Little Kail did not want to close his legs at all, so mamma had to help!

I must admit, I was a little skeptical when “mom” mentioned that the cousins were going to get their photos taken in costumes. Both mom’s thought it would make for some fun photos and I must admit, they are fun!
Having the children dress in something they were really comfortable in gave a whole new feeling to the session. We had a BLAST!! These cousins are too cute for words, and they all seem like the best of friends. Here are a couple of previews. More to come.

This little one was full of energy and did not stay in the same place for 2 seconds (which makes my job even more exciting). I am always trying to direct children into the right light or background, while they do their own thing. I am there to simply capture a child in everyday motion! :) This little one loves tractors, wheel barrels, and running down hills fast!! Thanks for letting me capture your family and enjoy!
A quick shot of mom and dad!
Look at those eyes…….
