This evening as I was fixing dinner, I noticed an amazing light coming through the windows. These are the colors in their true form. No photoshop! Just God’s light….what an amazing place we live in!

Well, this was a busy weekend but I would not have wanted it any other way!! Yesterday, as some of you might know was my birthday (thanks for all of the facebook love)! Chris and I don’t give each other gifts for birthdays because we tend to buy what we want, when we want. Instead, we like to DO something together. This year Chris took me to Catawba Falls! Believe it or not I had never been there! It was breath taking and such a good change of pace! We had 3 creek crossings before we arrived at the falls! It is a must see for yourself! The photos don’t do it justice!

Does anyone else see that look Chris is giving me. Yes, I was a little chicken when we came to this crossing. I think the look means, “put down your darn camera and cross”. I swear though, as I was looking at the crossing I was thinking, “this really might be my last birthday!”

A father brought out his two kids to see the falls! They had a little picnic! It was adorable!

Yesterday was such a great day at the Asheville Bridal Show! Chris and I loved every minute of it! We met a lot of great Brides (along with some of their family and friends)!! We also met some great vendors! Hats off to Marc and Colleen Wheeler for producing a great show!
