Wow! I must say that these photos make her look like she is 10 years older!! Such a beautiful girl with a great smile!! We had a lot of fun going around the land taking photos everywhere! Megan was a good sport and kept a smile the whole time (as you can see in these photos)!
month: October 2008
We had such a fun time taking the family photos! The fall colors were at its peak, which led to some beautiful colors in the photos! Such a cute group! Enjoy the previews!
So handsome….;)
The whole “gang”!
These kiddos were so much fun! I had a great time photographing you two!! Hope you enjoy a few of the photos from the session! Jenni, I will let you know when the rest are up!
It was such a beautiful fall day in Blowing Rock!! The fall colors made for a great background for the photos! Susan, you picked an amazing place for the photos! I hope you enjoy the sneak peak.
How innocent!
I also got some Halloween decorations up!

Do you ever just get a little overwhelmed with life? Not in a bad way, but you feel there is just no time to enjoy the colors of the trees, the smell in the air, the breeze in your face? Instead you are thinking about, “what is for dinner, I need to do laundry, do the dishes, etc…” Today, I decided I just needed to clear my head, so I did! It was soooo nice out. Chris has been clearing trails around our property, so I decided this evening would be a good time to take a “hike in my own back yard” and bring my camera along to play around with the settings!! Little Bobby, our pup, was of course the subject of most photos! It was wonderful to get away for 45 minutes to think about nothing! It was perfect…well, except for the dog poop I stepped in! I guess I really was thinking about nothing….haha! My head is now cleared and now I am thinking straight! God has blessed me with so much, and I am just lucky that I have dishes that need cleaned, or food to fix dinner with!

Some days I realize how blessed I really am! I really realized it this weekend! My parents, my brother and his girlfriend, and my aunt all came out to see me run the marathon. Yes, they might have only seen me run past them once, but they still came out to fight the crowd and see me run. There were some 33,000 runners and about 1.5 million in the crowd. It was an amazing experience! I also want to thank my wonderful husband for his love and support, for not only the race, but for the support this whole time while I was training! I never completed a long run without him biking next to me and singing to me “Guns and Roses” songs! (I think I miss training already). Well, I still have a ton of unpacking to do from the past few weekends of travel! Be on the lookout for more photos!
